![]() ![]() ![]() This is seriously disappointing, considering how well the rest of the software works, especially with my DDJ-SX. No dropped frames, and an average FPS between 30-50 (video is only about 30 constant according to Handbrake). h264 to h264 (NVENC, I was fed up with the time spent and wanted the quicker option), AAC audio passthrough, framerate "Same as Source." The resulting file was 215MB. I was finally able to fix the issue (if you can call it that) by re-encoding the video in Handbrake, but with the Fast Decode box checked. Same issue.įrom what I've gathered, Serato only utilizes the CPU for video encoding/decoding, not any dedicated GPUs. ![]() I tried everything I could think of, including busting out an external GPU with a desktop Nvidia 1660Ti. Nothing I did seemed to fix it, despite trying to Google the issue. Framerate (via the debug option) averaged around 7-10. The video itself is h264 encoded, with AAC audio. The test video was a YouTube rip of Porter Robinson's Shelter video (about 58MB). For reference, I'm using a Razer Blade Stealth 2020, (4-Core/8-Thread 10th Gen Intel and an Nvidia 1650Ti Mobile GPU, definitely within the minimum spec they require). I spent the last few hours playing with Serato video, and all I can say is that I'm disappointed. ![]()
